The story of this poetic film unfolds in a small village on the coast of the Azov Sea in the early 1960's. Here young boys dream of love, but only know of it from stories of older boys. Young Ignat dreams of love more than anyone else, so much that it becomes an obsession for him. A story of first love and betrayal, this film is both poetic and haunting.
