Secret Journey tells of the "reconstruction" of a tragic, criminal act, together with the reconstruction of a life. Leo Ferri, a forty year-old psychoanalyst, must travel to Sicily to protect a secret. His is return trip, to the place he fled from twenty-five years earlier with his little sister Ale. The journey offers the possibility for a lucid reconstruction of the crime that left their youth, their family history, suspended. The occasion for the trip arrives unexpectedly. Ale, Leo's beautiful sister, wants to marry fifty year-old Harold, a major artist of Serbian origin. The tie between the brother and sister is so close that they had never imagined such a traumatic event could take place. And Harold has even decided to give his fragile bride her home in Sicily as a wedding present. The home they fled from. The one where "everything" happened...
